As the news came in last night that Everton had put in the highest bid to Espanyol for their winger Albert Riera, it has been reported this morning that Liverpool are going to up their bid too, but with a twist.

I took this photo of a giant coconut crab at the Rota Zoo last month. That guy was nowhere as impressive as this guy, though. Those suckers get big, don't they?So why am I talking about giant coconut crabs? Well, because "giant coconut crabs" is one of the top google search terms today according to Google Trends.They are also mentioned in the AP story about the proposed 3 monuments.
