NASA Earth Day Photos in Google Earth

Tue, 22 Apr 2008 15:57:56 PDT
As part of Earth Day, NASA released their top ten favorite photos taken by crew from the International Space Station. Since about half the photos were of locations on the Earth we can see in Google Earth, I decided to create a KML version for the NASA photos (which includes overlays of the images). Tue, 22 Apr 2008 15:55:15 PDT
Wow ... via the Reuters Second Life News Center and the Second Life blog: Mark Kingdon, former CEO of Organic, is going to head up Linden Lab. Mark will be known as "M Linden" in Second Life (yes, the Bond jokes have already started). I am oddly hopeful as a result of this announcement. SL has taken a beating over the last year from fickle marketers and media alike, plus they have been plagued by technology problems and resident unrest over issues like content protection and copyright. I'm

CBC: It’s a “bungle”! No it’s a “blunder”! Hang on: it’s a “gaffe”! It ain’t good, that’s for sure! Just yesterday I had to update my Monday blog entry because the fair and balanced state-owned CBC Newsworld kept changing its mind about the Conservative government’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maxime Bernier, and how to officially describe his, um, verbal malfunction. Public: Don't Mess With My Flight Plans

Sun, 13 Aug 2006 11:58:25 PDT
"Pretty soon we'll have to fly naked!" The mass media rapidly embraced the UK terror storyline fed to them. The reaction was surprisingly cynical...
