Sgt. Jeff Nigbur, spokesman for the Utah Department of Public Safety, believes immigration enforcement power could be a valuable tool for highway patrol troopers who often detain undocumented immigrants suspected of drug trafficking. They are currently helpless in using ICE resources to aid in their investigation.

Sony Accepting Applications for Home Beta The good news is that Sony is accepting Home Beta applications starting August 11th. The bad news is that it will be for users in Japan at first, no word on when U.S. users will get to sign up. Applications are initially being accepted from Thursday until Aug. 11 from users in Japan only. Sony expects to offer access to about 10,000 gamers during the beta, which will begin in late August.
